MINT LEAVES NEVER TASTED SO GOOD

Last month, I spent 2 weeks  galavanting around Maroc Morocco“. We visited numerous cities by bus/train/foot. It was probably one of the more exhausting trips I’ve taken in a while. The bus rides were excruciatingly long, the train schedule was always off by an hour or two and the terrains weren’t as easy to roam around in flip flops as the books made it seem.

Overall, it was definitely an incredible trip- the colors of Morocco, were breathtaking, if I had more time and more luggage space, I probably would have brought back home most of the souvenirs sold in the souks of Fes and most importantly, the Maghrebi mint tea that they offer around Morocco is THE BEST TEA I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Check out CHIC LIFE to see all the benefits this amazing tea has to offer. (Jacques Chirac, the former French president, loved this tea so much that he had one of his chefs travel out to Morocco to learn how to make it)

One thing I learned this trip: your carefully, thought-out planned itinerary will hardly ever be followed through when you’re backpacking. Read up on a ton of blog posts by previous travelers and remember to bookmark those pages. Trust me, you’ll regret not bookmarking!

Here are some of my photos from my trip. Hope you enjoy and feel free to leave any questions or comments below!
